The first is an extract from the short story Coven.

We pick up at a point in the story where 15-year-old Emily has spent a little time with her mother when they go for a walk in the woods. There, they encounter a sinister evil in the form of a witch called Imelda Blackheart. Following an epic chase scene, mother and daughter retreat and take shelter in Emily’s new home – Strongbourne Manor…
